CFAARM is owned by Stephen A Frattini DVM, a graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a former member of the Aquatic Animal Health Program (AAHP). Stephen spent four years undergoing rigorous training in aquatic animal disease. He also won a National Institute of Health (NIH) award to fund a one year study of the Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia Virus (VHSV) outbreak in the Great Lakes. During this time, Stephen and the AAHP conducted seminal infectivity studies and outbreak tracking.
His focus now is to use this experience to benefit the aquatic animal industry in the United States and abroad.
